Year 6

On Thursday 23rd November, Year 6 went to Cambridge to visit the Sedgwick and MAA museums. These visits were linked to our current topic of evolution and last half term's exploration of South America.

We participated in lots of exciting activities and even got to handle some cultural artifacts.

Feedback from the museum:

'I just wanted to send a  thank you for Hartford Junior's generous donation to the Museum after visiting today. Donations contribute to the development and delivery of our educational programmes for schools, families and other community groups and we really appreciate your support.

I also wanted to say what a pleasure it was having your students in the Museum. They were enthusiastic participants in the session and lovely to teach. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future.'

On Tuesday 21st November, the Year 6s who went to Kingswood were VERY excited to welcome a surprise visit from Nathan - our group leader during the residential trip. He led a sing-a-long for all of Year 6 and set up a fabulous game of 'Splat!'.
